వైదిక గణితము అనగా
వేదాల నుంచి 1911, 1918 సంవత్సరాల మధ్య స్వామి భారతీ క్రిష్ణ తీర్థ
 (1884-1960)

చే తిరిగి కనుగొనబడ్డ
పదహారు ముఖ్య గణిత సూత్రాల సంకలనం.
కొన్ని సంవత్సరాల పాటు శ్రద్ధతో వేదాలను అభ్యసించడం ద్వారా ఈ సూత్రాలను కనుగొన్నట్టు స్వామీజీ పేర్కొన్నాడు.

According to the Gurudev, Vedic Mathematics is the ancient system of computation which was rediscovered by him.

He discovered it from
Atharvaveda which is also called.

Sulbha Sutras
or
Ganit Sutra.

It was Originally written in Sanskrit.

He spent 7 years in studying Vedanta. During these 7 years, he wrote 16 Sutras which were later called as Vedic Maths.

Gurudev always said Vedic Mathematics is
the science which is widely used and given
by the ancient sages of India.

History of Vedic Mathematics

The Original copy of Vedic Mathematics was kept in Nagpur.

1. Ekadhikena Purvena:
 ఏకాధికేన పూర్వేణ :
By one more than the previous one –

2. Nikhilam Navatashcaramam Dashatah:
నిఖిల్ నవతః చరమం దశతః

3. Urdhva-Tiryagbyham:
ఊర్థ్వ తిర్యగ్భ్యాం :
Vertically and crosswise

4. Paravartya Yojayet:
పరావర్త్య యోజయేత్
 Transpose and adjust

5. Shunyam Saamyasamuccaye:
శూన్యం సామ్యసముచ్చయే
When the sum is the same that amount is zero

6. Anurupye Shunyamanyat:
అనురూప్యేన శూన్యమాన్యాత్
If one is in ratio, the other is zero

7. Sankalana-vyavakalanabhyam :
సంకలన వ్యవకలనాభ్యాం
By addition and by subtraction

8. Puranapuranabyham :
పూరణ పూరణాభ్యాం
By the completion or non-completion
